1. Overview
These Terms govern your use of CookieAI at chat.cookieai.ch and cookieai.ch, operated by Teodor Petrica, Wallisellen, Zurich, Switzerland. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
CookieAI is a private AI chat platform hosted on servers in Zurich, Switzerland. The service includes:
- AI-powered chat with locally-hosted open-source models
- Team collaboration with shared knowledge bases
- Document upload and AI-assisted analysis
- Private web search
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to register. Accounts require email verification and administrator approval. You are responsible for your account security. You must not share accounts or create duplicates. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CookieAI to:
- Engage in illegal activities or purposes
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to access other users’ data
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service
- Generate spam or harmful content
- Share credentials with unauthorized individuals
5. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all content you upload and create. We do not claim intellectual property rights over your data. Your uploaded documents build your team’s private knowledge base, accessible only by your team. We never use your data to modify the underlying AI models. You can delete your data at any time.
6. Team Features
Team leaders manage membership and can invite members, remove members, and delete documents. All team members share access to the team knowledge base. Data isolation between teams is maintained at all times.
7. AI-Generated Content
AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content before relying on it for business, legal, medical, or financial decisions. CookieAI does not provide professional advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of AI responses.
8. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. Support is available via contact@cookieai.ch.
9. Pricing
Current pricing is listed at cookieai.ch. Prices are in CHF excluding VAT. We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing customers.
10. Limitation of Liability
CookieAI is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not responsible for decisions based on AI-generated content.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts for Terms violations. Upon termination, data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction: Zurich, Switzerland.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms and will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
